FUNCTION
Lay down (Knock aside) cabins are used to enable the cutter to make safe
slaughter of Cattles that arrive from the waiting paddock, without being subject
to overstress.
Cabins called as slaughter cells in cattle slaughter houses, are the first
equipments used at the beginning of slaughter at cattle slaughter spaces
There are steel plates mounted to floors at cattle slaughter halls, activated by
one pneumatic piston at both entry gates, one at the front and one at the back.
During the slaughtering, animals taken into the cabin, lose their balances on
the floor tilted with movement of plates and fall down with one foot left out
fixed outside the cabin. The body is tied up by this foot to the bleeding hook
hobble (watch chain) and the cattle is taken out of the cabin with the help of
cattle lifting crane where the slaughter is completed.
